Join our Primary Care Mental Health team, bringing practice based mental health services to the North Belfast and West Belfast GP Federations. We are recruiting for Senior Mental Health Practitioners.
Location: North Belfast and West Belfast GP Federations
- North Belfast Federation: 37.5 hours Permanent (Part Time Hours may be considered)
- North Belfast Federation: Waiting List - Permanent Post Full Time/Part Time posts that may arise within the next 12 months
- West Belfast Federation: Waiting List - Permanent Post Full Time/Part Time posts that may arise within the next 12 months

Salary: £47,810-£54,710 per annum (pro-rata for part time) plus a range of attractive terms and conditions - including membership of the HSC Pension Scheme.
Additional Benefits: Cycle to Work Scheme and NHS Car Lease Scheme. Federations also recognise HSC reckonable service for increment points, annual leave and sick leave.
JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care across the practice population. As a highly specialist clinical resource within General Practice, they will provide expert care, advice, and support while working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach across the patient pathway.
The role focuses on the application of evidence-based practice, including initial assessments for patients of all ages presenting with undifferentiated or undiagnosed mental health concerns, with timely referral to appropriate professionals or agencies as required.
