A highly successful, leading financial services organisation, headquartered in Belfast City Centre, is keen to appoint a Senior HR Assistant. Reporting to the Head of People, this is a varied senior HR Administration role, offering flexible working and 2 days WFH.
The Role
- Working closely with the Head of People and senior stakeholders to deliver operational and strategic HR support across the business.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across the business, including experienced hires, graduates, and placements.
- Advise managers on onboarding compliance requirements.
- HR input into acquisitions, including due diligence preparation, employee data audits, and integration planning.
- Lead on monthly payroll and benefits administration, liaising with external providers.
- Oversee annual salary review and bonus processes, managing documentation, approvals, and compensation changes with the senior leadership team.
- Keep the HRIS updated and produce accurate reports as required.
- Support training programmes - internal and external coordination.
- Act as first point of contact for employee relations matters, supporting managers on absence, performance management, disciplinaries, and policy guidance.
- Support the performance review cycle administration.
- Deliver employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
The Person
- 3rd level qualification.
- CIPD qualified, desirable.
- Minimum of 1-2 years HR Administrator/Coordinator experience.
- Professional services, financial services, or consultancy sector exposure.
- Team player.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Excellent IT and systems experience.
