This role is based in Finland and presents an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role on major hyperscale and mission-critical data centre developments.
Your new role As Senior Contracts Manager, you will act as the senior site leader with full responsibility for the successful delivery of large-scale data centre projects from pre-construction through to completion and will oversee all aspects of project execution, including programme management, commercial performance, health & safety, quality assurance, risk management, design coordination, stakeholder engagement and project close-out.
Working closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest successful candidate will lead project planning activities, manage contractual obligations, drive commercial performance, oversee subcontractor procurement and management, monitor project progress, and ensure robust reporting and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
You will also play a key role in mentoring teams, developing talent and driving continuous improvement across project delivery. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you will have a strong track record delivering large-scale construction, civil engineering, mission-critical or data centre projects in a Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Manager will possess: A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of five years' experience managing complex engineering or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies and project delivery best practice. Experience managing project financial performance, risk, procurement and commercial outcomes. Working knowledge of NEC3 and JCT Design & Build contracts. Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and people development skills. Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and quality management systems. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
Knowledge of BIM processes and modern construction techniques would be advantageous. Additional certifications including IOSH Managing Safely, Temporary Works Coordinator training, Excavation Safety training and experience working within live operational environments will be highly desirable.
