We are hiring for our client, a leading commercial law firm in Belfast, seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its highly regarded team at a senior level. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor to work closely with individuals, families, business owners and trustees on a broad range of complex private wealth matters. The successful candidate will advise on wills, trusts, succession planning, inheritance tax, estate administration and capacity-related matters. The role offers high-quality work, direct client responsibility and the opportunity to play an important part in the continued development of an established Private Client practice.

The Role:
- Advise clients on wills, trusts, estate planning and succession matters
- Manage the administration of complex and high-value estates
- Provide inheritance tax, wealth preservation and lifetime planning advice
- Advise on Enduring Powers of Attorney, capacity and controllership matters
- Draft wills, trust documents and other private client documentation
- Build trusted relationships with individuals, families, trustees and professional advisers
- Support and supervise more junior members of the team
- Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the Private Client practice
The Person:
- Qualified solicitor with strong Private Client experience (8 years PQE+)
- Operating at Senior Associate level or ready to step into a senior position
- Experience advising on wills, trusts, probate, succession planning and estate administration
- Comfortable managing complex matters and maintaining direct client relationships
- Strong technical, drafting and communication skills
- Commercially aware, empathetic and confident handling sensitive matters
- STEP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
- Able to support junior colleagues and contribute to the development of the team
