First Choice are currently recruiting a receptionist to work within the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, at their Derriaghy Day Centre Site. This is a part time temporary post, covering 18.75 hours per week, initially required for a one month period, with the possibility of extension. Hours of work will be: Monday - Thursday 9am - 12:45pm, Friday 9am - 12:30pm.
Pay Rate: £12.71 Per Hour
The successful candidate for this role must display excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a friendly outgoing demeanor.
Main duties will be to:
- Provide a professional, welcoming, and courteous reception service as the first point of contact for service users, visitors, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries, ensuring accurate information is provided or queries are directed to the appropriate member of staff.
- Maintain the reception area to a high standard, ensuring it is organised, secure, and presents a positive image of the Day Centre.
- Register visitors in accordance with safeguarding, security, and organisational procedures, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, transport arrangements, and room bookings using electronic and manual diary systems.
What We Need From You:
- 4 GCSEs Grades A-C to include English Language OR b) NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent qualification)
- 1 years administrative/reception experience.
- Experience in using Microsoft WORD/EXCEL/OUTLOOK or equivalent packages
- Willingness to undertake an Enhanced Access NI Check
