We are hiring for our client for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager (Mechanical) to join a growing and highly regarded construction business delivering leading-edge projects across a range of sectors. This Pre-Construction Manager role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the design, planning and successful delivery of major MEP projects from concept through to handover.
The successful Pre-Construction Manager will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to develop innovative, cost-effective and buildable solutions.

The Role
- Lead pre-construction and design activities for Mechanical projects from concept stage through to delivery
- Develop designs alongside consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Review tender documentation and manage the process through to contract handover
- Analyse Mechanical drawings and schematics
- Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks
- Liaise with contracts teams, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business
- Ensure solutions are practical, commercially viable and deliverable on site
The Person
- 3+ years' experience in a Pre-Construction role within construction or MEP projects
- Strong Mechanical technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
- Full clean driving licence
- Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
