Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Electrician will be responsible for undertaking various electrical tasks including inspection & testing and condition reporting for new installation work, minor works projects, refurbishment works and planned maintenance tasks in order to achieve a high level of service delivery.

Hours per week: Mon-Fri, 40 hours

Job Responsibilities:
- Be suitably experienced in the delivery of all aspects of electrical installation works from light commercial installations to large industrial installations.
- Work either as part of a maintenance team for larger installations under the instruction of a local site supervisor or work independently on minor works projects without local supervision.
- Have the ability to meet with a variety of Clients to represent the Company and remain courteous and professional in your dealings at all times.
- Have sufficient knowledge of the current IET wiring regulations ensuring all works meet the requirements of the current IET wiring regulations.
- Undertake a range of installation and completion tasks including but not limited to single and three phase low voltage distribution cabling and equipment, steel & PVC trunking/tray/conduit containment, final circuit cabling, second fix final termination of wiring accessories, data networking, HVCA controls, fault finding, inspection & testing.
- Accurate completion and timely submission of company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) as required per contract.
- Liaise closely with the electrical engineers to develop engineering solutions to meet clients' requirements and budgets.
- Use their own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered.
- Have a sound understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and associated IET guidance documents in relation to best practice and principles.

About You
Essential Criteria
- C&G Lv 3 2357 or equivalent, having completed a relevant apprenticeship within your trade
- Hold a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to planned, reactive and remedial maintenance
- AM2
- 18th Edition
- Current Full UK Driver's License
- Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card
- Normal eyesight colour vision
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in planned & reactive maintenance
- CSR Site Supervisors Gold Card
- High Voltage awareness training
