This is a key commercial position for a professional who enjoys working closely with Directors in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Management Accounts: Full monthly production, including WIP analysis and project profitability.
  • Strategic Insight: Partner with the Board to provide financial data that drives growth and contract performance.
  • Process Improvement: Modernise financial systems and strengthen internal controls.
  • Financial Planning: Manage annual budgets and maintain robust cash flow forecasts.
  • Collaboration: Act as the financial link between the office and site management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Strong background as a Management Accountant, ideally within Construction, Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel user with a knack for improving financial systems.
  • Communication: Ability to present clear financial performance reports to the Board of Directors.
  • Qualification: ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified (or Finalist). Highly experienced QBE candidates are also encouraged to apply.
