We are delighted to be partnering with a top international law firm recruiting for a litigation solicitor (Associate) to be part of a vibrant, local team in Belfast, with plans for further growth. Your New Role
As the Litigation Solicitor (Associate), you will have a detailed working knowledge of civil litigation and advocacy in both the County Court and the High Court. This is required for the role and Chancery and Commercial Court experience would be an advantage either from your training contract or in your post qualification experience. The Belfast Dispute Resolution & Litigation team specialises in all forms of commercial litigation, in particular disputes in the corporate, real estate, energy, tech and financial services spheres. The state-of-the-art office provides space for a collaborative working culture and a fantastic environment to enable a mix of office and home working, as required by the caseload. They act for an impressive number of large national and multi-national corporations, High Street banks, financial institutions and FTSE 250 clients and provide clients with a wide range of advisory and litigation services covering all aspects of commercial litigation. On offer is a varied commercial litigation caseload with a particular focus on financial services and insolvency disputes. You will have opportunity for significant levels of client contact and to build meaningful and rewarding relationships as a result. You’ll share in the commitment to putting the client at the centre of everything they do and work to deliver an exceptional service in a friendly, supportive environment.
What You Need To Succeed
- Be a qualified solicitor in either Northern Ireland, England & Wales or the Republic of Ireland, with at least 1 YR PQE gained in litigation, disputes or contentious matters at another law firm.
- Manage your own caseload and work as part of a broader litigation team.
- Have a proactive mind-set.
- Be IT proficient.
