Our client is continuing to invest in its legal operations and innovation team and is looking to appoint a Legal Analyst to join its growing Disputes team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a law graduate or early-career legal professional to work on large-scale, high-profile contentious matters within a modern, technology-driven legal environment.
You’ll work closely with highly experienced disputes lawyers as part of a collaborative global team, supporting the delivery of complex legal projects while gaining exposure to cutting-edge legal technology, AI-enabled solutions and data-led legal services.
The Opportunity
This role sits within a forward-thinking team focused on transforming the way legal services are delivered. Combining legal expertise, process improvement and technology, the team supports clients on large and complex matters across disputes, investigations and claims management. As a Legal Analyst, you’ll play an important role in the successful delivery of these matters, contributing high-quality legal analysis while developing your understanding of legal operations, innovation and modern legal service delivery. You’ll be joining a supportive and inclusive environment with excellent training, mentoring and development opportunities, alongside the chance to collaborate with colleagues across international offices.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting senior disputes lawyers on large-scale contentious matters
- Reviewing, analysing and organising documentary and factual evidence
- Assisting with investigations, claims management and document-heavy disputes work
- Producing accurate and consistent legal analysis and reporting
- Working with legal technology platforms and AI-enabled tools
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments
- Supporting efficient matter management and compliance processes
- Working to agreed productivity and quality benchmarks within a collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A law degree (2:1 or above) or postgraduate legal qualification
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- An interest in legal innovation, AI and legal technology
- Confidence using technology and learning new systems quickly
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
- Previous office-based work experience
- Additional language skills, particularly Western European languages or Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, Korean or Russian
