Grant Thornton's Consulting Team are seeking to recruit experienced Learning and Development Consultants at Manager and Associate Director levels within the consulting practice, based out of Dublin and Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious and motivated individuals to join our Learning and Development Consulting team in a growing area of our business.
These will be challenging and fulfilling roles within a team that delivers work for clients in areas such as designing, delivering, and evaluating synchronous and asynchronous learning programmes, leadership development programmes, coaching and mentoring, culture change programmes, stakeholder engagement, and communications. The roles are to contribute to and support the delivery of a variety of client engagements across multiple industries.
Experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of modern, innovative, and engaging programmes for all levels within organisations, up to and including Executive level. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong and evidenced understanding of how adults learn, along with the ability to deliver high-quality instructional design and superb facilitation skills. Executive coaching experience is advantageous.
The successful candidates will be exposed to a variety of projects and will be given the opportunity to lead on interesting and challenging client projects. An additional aspect of the roles will be to lead and support the business development initiatives of the team. The role will provide an excellent opportunity to build a long term and sustainable career in a growing area of our business.
Roles & Responsibilities- Leading and supporting on client and learning and development projects from initiation to close
- Leading the discovery, design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development programmes
- Engaging project stakeholders to effectively manage clients and project delivery
- Working with clients across Ireland implementing learning and development programmes, including leadership development, Learning Management Systems, digital platforms, and e-learning
- Preparation of formal reports and presentations
- Ensuring assigned projects and tasks meet required deadlines
- Conducting industry research and thought leadership covering the key market sectors/target clients
- Support and lead on business development initiatives
- Support and preparation of proposals, tendering and pitches for new client work.
The candidate must have capabilities and proven experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Management, HR, L&D, Organisational Development, Psychology)
- Learning and Development and Leadership Development Programme design, delivery, and evaluation
- Evidence of adult learning, instructional design, and facilitation experience
- Learning Management Systems (LMS) certifications, e-learning design, and digital learning platforms
- Accredited Executive Coach
- Psychometric Assessment Accreditation
A minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience preferably in a consulting or corporate environment working in and/or with large scale organisations:
- Experience in quality, engaging, innovative, and modern training design, delivery and evaluation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Expertise in C-Suite / Senior Management engagement and communication
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- An ability to balance big-picture thinking with acute attention to detail
- A natural curiosity to explore new business opportunities
- A creative, problem-solving mindset and initiative-driven approach
- Excellent written skills including the preparation of comprehensive reports and presentations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence and developing effective working relationships
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
