ICT Technician urgently required to join the team at the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service Headquarters based in Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Belfast. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm with an hourly pay rate of £15.88. Initially, this role will be for 3 months on a temporary basis with the possibility of an extension based on job performance.

The main duties will include:

  • Providing technical end user support and undertaking complex fault diagnosis and resolution for a full range of ICT Systems.
  • Undertaking routine maintenance and fault analysis, diagnosis.
  • Undertaking regular site visits for the deployment, reconfiguration, maintenance and emergency repair of IT and Telephony equipment.
  • Assisting in the installation, testing, repair and maintenance of all new and existing hardware and software applications.

What We Need From You:

  • University degree or equivalent in ICT discipline subject with a minimum of 1 year experience or four years plus experience without degree or equivalent in the installation and support of a full range of network-based computer equipment, such as personal computers, printers and data switches.
  • Experience troubleshooting and configuration of devices such as Hubs, Switches and Routers.
  • Working knowledge and experience of Help Desk Management Systems and Internet Portal Systems and Technologies.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
