Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all equipment in the factory (machinery, belts, etc.) are cleaned to a high standard, as per procedure - full training and PPE will be provided.
  • Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary.
  • Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies.
  • To comply with managers/supervisors' instructions in a timely manner.
  • Report to your Supervisor/Manager of the area concerned any maintenance requirements.
  • To adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulations.
  • Promptly report any accidents, incidents or near misses to your manager or supervisor.
  • To work in a manner as to prevent or minimize the risk of accidents.
  • To adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production.
  • To undertake such other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required.
  • Undertake Chemical training.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties.

Hourly rate: £13.40
