They are now seeking a Head of Technology to define and deliver their technology strategy while driving the development of scalable, client-facing solutions. This is a senior leadership role within a lean environment, offering the opportunity to shape technology direction while remaining close to delivery.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of the organisation’s technology strategy, with a strong focus on Salesforce integration, API-led architecture, and scalable digital solutions. This role blends strategy, architecture, and hands-on delivery, making it ideal for someone who can optimise Salesforce and connected platforms while ensuring technology decisions support client experience, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, external partners, and delivery teams to shape a technology ecosystem that is secure, scalable, and fit for a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver a business-aligned technology strategy including the technology roadmap
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on technology, innovation, and risk
  • Own the architecture and evolution of Salesforce and connected systems
  • Design and deliver API-driven integrations across internal and external platforms
  • Lead the development and optimisation of client-facing platforms and SaaS solutions
  • Oversee system scalability, performance, and security
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, Salesforce partners, and technology providers
  • Lead delivery of key technology initiatives, ensuring they meet business and client needs
  • Drive a product and platform mindset across technology initiatives
  • Establish robust governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and data protection requirements

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role such as Head of Technology, CTO, or similar
  • Strong background in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments
  • Deep experience with Salesforce architecture, configuration, optimisation, and ecosystem management
  • Experience delivering Salesforce-led solutions, including integrations with internal and external systems
  • Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and middleware platforms
  • Experience building scalable, integration-led platforms and client-facing technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of modern SaaS ecosystems and composable architecture
  • Experience working in lean teams, leveraging vendors, Salesforce partners, and external technology providers
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to balance innovation, cost, and risk
  • Hands-on mindset, comfortable operating across both strategy and delivery
