Ashton Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance & Exterior Cleaning Operative on behalf of our Belfast-based client.

Location: Belfast

Job Type: Full-time

Driving Licence: Essential

Salary: £14 - £15 per hour

This is a varied, hands-on role involving window cleaning, power washing and general grounds maintenance across a range of client sites. The successful candidate must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and travelling between locations as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning windows at commercial and residential premises
  • Carrying out power washing of paths, walls, yards and external surfaces
  • Completing general grounds maintenance duties
  • Grass cutting, strimming, weeding and hedge trimming
  • Clearing leaves, litter and other debris
  • Ensuring outdoor areas are clean, tidy and well maintained
  • Safely operating cleaning and grounds maintenance equipment
  • Completing daily jobs to a high standard
  • Following all relevant health and safety procedures
  • Driving company vehicles between sites
Essential Criteria
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in window cleaning, power washing, grounds maintenance or a similar practical role
  • Comfortable working outdoors and completing physically demanding duties
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • A flexible and hardworking approach
