As Northern Ireland's leading wholesaler, we offer the most comprehensive range in the market with over 10,000 lines including impulse, alcohol, grocery, and chill freeze. The Role: This is a great opportunity for someone with retail experience looking for a development opportunity into management. Alongside your base salary, the role also offers 10% store discount, bonus, wellbeing incentives, development plans, in-store progression, and pension.
What you will be doing:
- Managing the fresh/frozen/foodservice department to ensure it meets its operational standards (this may involve food handling including meat and dairy products).
- Managing a team of people.
- Execute promotions in line with promotional guidelines.
- Work in partnership with the re-order team to always ensure correct stock levels and take responsibility for specific orders where relevant.
- Achieve full compliance on all Standard Operating procedures.
- Ensuring enthusiasm, flair and passion for the brand and commercial acumen.
- Build strong influential relationships with customers to understand and meet their needs, growing the customers' loyalty to Musgrave.
- Demonstrate the Musgrave leadership skills and values holding self and others accountable for meeting and exceeding objectives.
Hours of work: 38 hours per week (Monday to Sunday).

What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a fresh food/sales or supervisory position.
- Understands and is familiar with the grocery retail and/or foodservice markets.
- Proven experience of managing/leading a team.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and direct a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Customer focused.
- Strong problem-solving focus.
- Capacity to manage competing priorities.
