The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 Β£ per year.

Location: Holywood Road, Belfast

Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 9.00am - 5.00pm

Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected Independent Financial Adviser practice to recruit a Financial Services Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within financial services. Whether you already have experience in financial services administration or are looking to take your first step into the industry, this role offers structured training, genuine career progression and exposure to all areas of financial planning.

The successful candidate will initially support the protection side of the business, learning how to manage applications, liaise with clients and insurers, and maintain accurate records. Over time, the role will expand to include pensions, investments, mortgages, technical report preparation and paraplanning responsibilities.

The Role

  • Managing protection applications from submission through to completion
  • Producing quotations, illustrations and client documentation
  • Liaising with clients, insurers and providers
  • Monitoring underwriting requirements and policy progress
  • Maintaining compliant client records and back-office systems
  • Assisting with trust documentation and suitability reports
  • Managing diaries, appointments and client communications
  • Answering incoming calls and welcoming clients to the office
  • Supporting advisers with day-to-day administrative requirements
  • General office administration and business support

About You

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • A professional and personable approach
  • Confidence dealing with clients both face-to-face and over the phone
  • A willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities
  • A genuine interest in building a career within financial services
  • Previous experience within financial services, banking, mortgages, insurance or an IFA environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
