The role is based in Belfast and reports directly to the senior finance leadership.

About you

  • Professionally qualified with ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Over 5 years' experience in a similar high-volume FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Analytical, disciplined, and proactive mindset
  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and ERP systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ethical standards
  • Ability to adapt swiftly to new systems and environment changes

What you'll do

  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes ensuring compliance with IFRS/USGAAP standards
  • Deliver accurate management accounts, financial performance dashboards, and detailed variance analysis
  • Support strategic decision-making by partnering with operations, supply chain, and sales teams
  • Drive operational efficiency through cost control initiatives and process improvements
  • Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development
  • Enhance ERP and reporting systems to facilitate real-time insights and standardised practices
  • Oversee internal controls, audit compliance, and contribute to financial systems enhancements
