A global organisation offering highly flexible working arrangements is seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant to support the growth of its finance function. This role will strengthen the Northern Ireland based team and report directly to a Senior Manager. The successful candidate will play an important role in driving financial performance across several international entities, delivering accurate reporting, meaningful analysis, and contributing to the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyse financial performance and investigate variances.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
  • Partner with teams to provide financial insight.
  • Manage intercompany accounting and international reporting.
  • Liaise with external providers on payroll, tax, and accounting.
  • Contribute to process improvements and stronger controls.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or commercial finance roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present clear insights.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
