Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with a well-established professional services organisation as they look to appoint a Finance & Operations Manager to join their leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a broad business support function, encompassing finance, operations, people management and governance. Working closely with the Partners, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm's continued growth, driving operational excellence and providing commercial insight to inform strategic decision-making.
The Role
- Taking ownership of the firm's financial planning, reporting and control framework, ensuring robust processes and high-quality management information.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and cashflow activities, whilst supporting senior stakeholders with commercial analysis and business planning.
- Partnering with leadership to enhance operational performance, resource planning and overall business effectiveness.
- Overseeing people-related activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Maintaining effective governance, risk management and compliance processes across the organisation.
About You
- Previous experience within a finance and/or operations leadership role, ideally gained within a professional services environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret financial information and provide practical business insight.
- A finance qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to influence and support decision-making at senior level.
