City View Court, situated in Belfast, delivers person-centred nursing care for up to 100 residents. Recently refurbished, City View Court is a light, modern and spacious home offering a range of specialist care services for older people, including residential, dementia and general nursing. Our kind and compassionate team not only provides care, but shares their good company, companionship and assistance whenever required, ensuring that all residents feel listened to and supported. Whilst all private bedrooms are fully furnished, residents are welcome to personalise the space with their own accessories and furniture. Residents at City View Court can enjoy the comfortable lounges and dining spaces to relax, enjoy a nutritious meal freshly prepared by our chef, or to socialise. Despite its city centre location, City View Court boasts a calm, restful atmosphere.
About the role: The role of the Domestic Assistant is essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Supporting the Housekeeper with the environment of the Home, the Domestic Assistant will contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. The Domestic Assistant will ensure that the Home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times. The Domestic Assistant role at Healthcare Ireland Group works closely with the care teams and residents, building trusting relationships to create a comfortable environment where our residents feel safe and cared for. From ensuring that rooms are clean to tidying communal areas, every task contributes to the value that we add to the lives of our residents.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home
- Cover domestic duties as assigned
- Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management
- Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
- Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
