Claims Handler / Litigation Assistant, Belfast City Centre, £Neg Overview Pathway Legal is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious law firm with its Head Office based in Belfast City Centre.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Claims Handler / Litigation Assistant to join their successful Hearing Loss & Industrial Disease team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established litigation department where you will initially support the progression of a busy caseload before developing into a Claims Handler role with responsibility for managing your own files.

Key Responsibilities Supporting the progression of Hearing Loss and Industrial Disease claims.

Liaising with clients and providing a high standard of client care.

Obtaining medical records and other relevant documentation.

Liaising with medical experts and third parties.

Preparing legal correspondence and documentation.

Managing the administrative aspects of a busy caseload.

Assisting with file management and progressing claims efficiently.

Developing towards managing your own caseload of claims.

Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience within a legal, insurance or claims handling environment.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Strong communication and client care skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload.

Experience within personal injury litigation would be advantageous but is not essential.

A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to develop your career.
