We are hiring for our client, an established Civil Engineering and Utilities contractor based in Co. Down, for the recruitment of a Civil Site Engineer / Site Agent. This role is based across active project sites spanning NI and ROI, working closely with operational teams, site management, and senior leadership. Projects must be delivered to specification and in accordance with agreed company standards, with a strong emphasis on health and safety, compliance, reporting, and documentation.

The Role:
- Conduct site surveying and setting out
- Assist in controlling plant and materials on site
- Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality standard
- Regularly complete site diary and paperwork
- Attend site meetings, ensuring issues arising on site are discussed and resolved
- Ensure health and safety is implemented and maintained throughout site
- Liaise with clients and consultancies when necessary
The Person:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering
- Civils engineering and utilities experience
- Confident reading and interpreting design drawings
- Excellent IT and communication skills
- Experience working across multiple site activities and teams
- Full driving licence essential
- Strong knowledge of UK/Irish health and safety legislation
- Experience across multiple live civil engineering or utilities projects
