Your new company is a leading engineering consultancy seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join its expanding Water and Wastewater team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a large, collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions across the UK. The team provides a broad range of services including water and wastewater infrastructure, water mains design, drainage, SuDS and surface water management, working with clients such as water companies, local authorities, highways authorities, rail authorities and private developers.

Your new role involves supporting the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including:

  • Producing and managing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for roads, drainage and utilities using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Undertaking hydraulic and SuDS design using Causeway Flow and MicroDrainage
  • Working closely with engineers and technicians to ensure design integration and quality
  • Assisting with design reviews, detailed design and production drawings
  • Supporting and mentoring junior technicians, providing technical guidance where required
