You will be working closely with our accounting department, receiving support and guidance from our experienced Team Leader and Senior Accountant. As an Assistant Accountant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with all financial reconciliations, including bank and supplier accounts
- Processing invoices, payments, and credit notes accurately and on time
- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure accurate financial records
- Assisting with payroll and other ad-hoc accounting tasks as required
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company procedures
No experience in the automotive sector? No problem! We welcome new colleagues from all finance backgrounds and provide full training to get you up to speed. Ideally, we're looking for someone who has completed a finance-related placement, internship, or degree, and is eager to apply their skills in a professional accounting environment. Strong IT skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude are essential for this role. You'll need excellent organisational skills and the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
