Your new company

With a strong track record spanning residential, commercial, retail, hotel and mixed-use developments, this organisation has built a reputation for delivering complex and high-quality schemes across a diverse portfolio. With in-house architectural and construction capability, the organisation works across the full lifecycle of projects, from acquisition and concept design through to delivery on site. This integrated approach allows them to take ownership of projects and drive innovation, quality and efficiency throughout each stage. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team, based in either their Belfast studio or head office in Derry/Londonderry.

Your new role

You will play a key role in the delivery of a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. Working within a collaborative in-house design team, you will contribute across all RIBA/RIAI work stages, from early concept design through to construction delivery and completion. Your responsibilities will include preparing design information, planning and Building Control applications, producing working drawings and specifications, and coordinating design information across multidisciplinary teams. You will also have the opportunity to lead elements of projects, manage timelines and ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, programme and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to work client-side within a dynamic and fast-paced development environment, gaining exposure to complex schemes and playing a meaningful role in shaping projects from inception to delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a solid understanding of the planning process, building regulations and construction detailing within the UK and/or Ireland. You will demonstrate strong design and technical capability, alongside excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, consultants and contractors. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit is essential, while experience working across multiple project types will be highly advantageous. Candidates should be capable of managing their own workload while contributing as part of a wider team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine interest in delivering high-quality developments.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will join a progressive and growing organisation offering long-term career development within a collaborative and supportive team environment. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of projects across different sectors, with the opportunity to develop both technically and professionally within a client-side development business. A competitive salary will be offered, alongside a comprehensive benefits package and flexible working arrangements. You will also benefit from ongoing training, professional development support and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across Northern Ireland, the UK and Ireland.
