About the Role

BlackFox Solutions are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for accuracy to contribute to a busy and supportive accounts function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices to the correct accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Preparing payment runs in line with company procedures
  • Maintaining up-to-date supplier records
  • Handling supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
  • Supporting the wider finance team as required

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant role
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
