Road Freight Forwarder Belfast £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits + Progression

Do you have experience of Road Freight Forwarding? Are you looking to enhance your skills in Logistics? If you can organise a load of groupage, full loads and part loads and are keen to explore a new opportunity to enhance your career, then please read on.

Joining an established freight forwarding organisation, you will be comfortable in organising efficient movement of goods via road throughout the UK & EU, ensuring the customer is kept up to date and their goods are being moved in the most efficient manner.

Dealing with a variety of customers, suppliers and sub-contractors you will enjoy putting together all the pieces of the puzzle to ensure your loads get from A to B in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible. As this role involves buying & selling of freight and pallet spaces, strong negotiation skills are required.

The Role
  • Routing/Tracking of loads through UK, Ireland, Europe & Beyond!
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery and collection requirements
  • Receive bookings from customers and issue confirmation e-mail
  • Organise collection and arrange delivery schedules
  • Create customs entries when required
  • Keep clients advised of any delays in collection/sailing/delivery
  • Monday to Friday, no weekends!
The Person
  • Will have previous transport/logistics experience
  • Be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
