A well-established law firm in Bangor is seeking a Legal Secretary to join its busy matrimonial team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a Partner within a fast-paced matrimonial department. The role would suit someone with previous matrimonial or litigation experience who is comfortable working in a client-focused legal environment and managing a varied workload.

  • Preparing, formatting, and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing and maintaining client files, ensuring accuracy and organisation
  • Audio typing and document production as required
  • Providing administrative support to solicitors within the team
  • Assisting with case preparation and file management
  • Liaising professionally with clients and other legal professionals
  • Managing deadlines and prioritising workloads effectively

About You

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal support role
  • Experience within matrimonial law or litigation is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
  • Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
