About the Role:
Staffline Recruitment is recruiting experienced Welder/Fabricators for full-time positions, with both day and night shifts available. The successful Welder/Fabricators will manufacture and assemble components to the required specifications while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld components in accordance with technical specifications
- Read and accurately interpret fabrication and assembly drawings
- Follow approved welding procedures and production instructions
- Complete welding, cutting, grinding and finishing tasks
- Use grinders, hand plasma cutters and other fabrication tools safely
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required quality standards
- Identify and report defects, equipment issues or production concerns
- Maintain an organised, safe and efficient working area
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Work effectively to meet production targets and deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues across the manufacturing team
- Participate in training and development aligned with company standards
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience as a Welder, Fabricator or Welder/Fabricator
- Practical knowledge of welding procedures and their application
- The ability to read and understand fabrication and assembly drawings
- Experience using grinders, hand plasma cutters and other workshop tools
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- A reliable approach with strong attendance and timekeeping
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Flexibility to work the available day or night shift pattern
- Previous pipe fabrication experience would be advantageous.
