To join a leading manufacturer with a rich heritage in NI as their new Supply Chain Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director and as part of the SMT you will lead and develop their end-to-end supply chain, focusing on:

  • Driving efficiency, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Management of the existing purchasing team
  • Hands-on day-to-day negotiations with a global supply chain in a fast-moving and fluid environment
  • The effective management of a Global Supply Chain
  • Reporting on key KPIs including inventory turns, forecast accuracy, OTIF, and cost-to-serve
  • Leading weekly planning meetings and providing insights to senior management
  • Management of stores within the company’s manufacturing facility to drive operational efficiency
  • Other adhoc duties

What we are looking for:

  • 4 years relevant experience including the development & implementation of procurement strategies, supply contracts, ideally gained within a manufacturing or related industry
  • Knowledge of procurement, inventory control, planning, logistics etc.
  • Excellent communication, people & negotiation skills
  • Experience of using ERP/MRP system
