We're working with an electronics manufacturer who supply to the Aerospace, Defence, Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors. You'll be managing a team of 6 direct reports across purchasing and stores. There's a good bit of freedom with the role and direct input into strategic and operational decisions. You'll be able to streamline processes and make changes as you see fit. It would be handy if you've savvy with MRP systems as they feel their system can be better utilised for data driven decision making.
The Requirements:
- 5 years managing a purchasing team.
- Experience with using MRP/ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
