The Role

This is a senior, hands-on project management position at the heart of a business-critical ERP transformation. You will take full ownership of the programme lifecycle, from planning and design through to go-live and post-implementation support, working across IT, operations, finance, and supply chain. You will manage a mixed team of internal stakeholders and external implementation partners, and report at a senior leadership level. This role suits a highly organised, commercially aware project manager who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and knows how to keep enterprise programmes on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full project lifecycle for a Dynamics 365 F&O ERP implementation, from initiation through to post-go-live support.
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, and third-party implementation partners across all project workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, schedules, and progress reporting.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocations, and forecasts throughout the programme.
  • Drive governance processes, including steering committee reporting and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee data migration activities, system integration workstreams, and process redesign milestones.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies across the programme.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical deliverables in collaboration with architects and analysts.
  • Ensure the programme aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable outcomes on time and within budget.

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • 5+ years' experience managing IT or enterprise business systems projects.
  • Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX implementations.
  • Experience leading at least three full lifecycle ERP implementations.
  • Strong understanding of ERP-adjacent business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
  • Experience managing data migration and system integration workstreams.
  • Experience managing third-party implementation partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Project management certification: PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Third-level qualification in Business, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable / Nice to Have:

  • Experience delivering large-scale ERP transformation across multiple business units.
  • Familiarity with Azure Integration Services or Power Platform.
  • Experience migrating from Sage ERP to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
