We're looking for a Trade Counter Sales Person to join us. In this role you'll serve trade and retail customers at the counter, advising on products and maximising profitable sales. You'll be the trusted face of Haldane Group, helping customers get exactly what they need. Most of all, it's a role where what you do really matters - every day you'll help our customers build with confidence.

What you'll be doing:

  • Serve customers quickly and helpfully.
  • Advise on products and availability.
  • Process sales, quotes and orders accurately.
  • Maximise add-ons and margin.
  • Maintain merchandising and stock.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in a trade counter or customer-facing role.
  • A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • A target-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a branch team.
  • Knowledge of, or a keen interest in, building materials, timber, and hardware.
  • Customer service / sales aptitude.
  • Willingness to learn products.
  • A genuine pride in your work, and a way of working that reflects a helpful, can-do manner.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 17.00pm, Fridays 8:00am - 16.00pm, Saturdays (alternating) 8am-12.30pm.
