Our fleet of Galgorm Group vehicles leaves our premises daily, delivering to Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Nursing Homes, Factories, Schools, Universities, and other institutions, as well as servicing the vibrant Wholesale and Cash & Carry market throughout Ireland.
Due to changes within the department, we have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Product Buyer with a solid background and a minimum of 35 years' experience in Supply Chain Management. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to contribute significantly to the development of our supply chain function while advancing their career within a dynamic, progressive, and growing company.
The Role
Your primary objective will be to manage procurement resources, minimising supply costs while maximising supplier performance. This is a cross-functional role that works closely with all areas of the supply chain to achieve overall business objectives. You will also liaise with Customer Service, Sales Support, and Marketing teams to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 35 years' experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Sound IT and analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Appropriate third-level qualification and/or professional qualification preferred.
