The Opportunity - Human Resources Graduate Scheme

Start Date - September 2026, typically for 18 months

Starting salary - £28,000-£30,000

Minimum Entry Criteria - You'll need to be near to, or have completed, an appropriate bachelor's or master's degree such as HR, Business Studies or Business Management and must be on track to secure a 2:1 or higher.

After completing the 18-month graduate scheme, you will move into a permanent role within our HR team.

This will be suited to you if you are dedicated, passionate, hands-on, willing to learn and have a relevant university project or work experience behind you. You'll be a truly logical thinker, great problem solver and a tenacious, inquisitive graduate. What's more, your fresh approach and desire to always challenge the norm and think creatively and the desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

What does the Human Resources Graduate Scheme involve day to day?

We are investing into the future of our business, and The Human Resources Graduate will support both the operational, strategic and development activities of the Human Resources function. The role combines administrative HR support with involvement in people initiatives and continuous improvement activity that supports efficient, effective, and compliant HR service delivery.

What could I be doing?

  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and personnel files in line with data protection requirements
  • Support absence management processes, including recording absences, monitoring trends, and preparing reports
  • Draft HR correspondence and documentation, including contracts, offer letters, absence letters, and standard employee communications
  • Support performance management, talent development, and succession planning processes
  • Support the delivery of HR initiatives aligned with business and people strategy

We aim to call all candidates whether successful or unsuccessful a few weeks after the interview has taken place. All of our apprentices and graduates will start their exciting journeys with a full induction week in September 2026!
