We are looking for a motivated office-based Estimator to support a busy project team by producing accurate and timely quotations for a variety of client requirements. This role is ideal for someone with experience or education in mechanical and/or electrical estimating. Candidates with a relevant qualification but limited experience may be considered for a junior position. You will need strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work with technical information, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate quotations for projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and requirements
  • Clarify missing information with internal teams or engineers
  • Gather and compare supplier/subcontractor pricing
  • Maintain cost databases (materials, labour, products)
  • Support senior estimators with tenders and proposals
  • Assist with project handovers between sales, operations, and site teams
  • Keep project records organised and up to date
  • Contribute to improving estimating processes
Skills & Experience
  • Background or education in mechanical/electrical estimating
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Proactive and willing to learn estimating systems
  • Technical knowledge of doors/shutters/façade systems is beneficial but not essential
