Role Overview: Reporting to the General Manager for DennPart, this is a key aftersales support role which will take responsibility for ensuring efficient sales order processing, accurate delivery coordination, and reliable support for sales representatives within our DennPart business. This role will serve as the key link between customers, sales, logistics, and procurement to guarantee smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction.

Location: The role will be based out of our Head Quarters in Ballyclare.

Hours of Work: This is a full-time position with a core working week of 40 hours, 08:30 17:00, Monday to Friday. An element of flexibility will be expected outside of these hours as and when needed to support the sales team.

About The Role

  • Supervise daily operations of the sales support staff to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate all DennPart sales support and order processing activities.
  • Ensure that all quotations, sales orders, and invoices are entered with accurate part details, pricing, and stock levels.
  • Communicate with depot parts team leaders to schedule and track deliveries.
  • Monitor order progress and proactively update customers and sales representatives.
  • Ensure prompt assistance to sales representatives with quotes, pricing, and product availability.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, backorders, and delivery issues quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain current product, pricing, and inventory information in the sales system.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
  • Assist in implementing sales promotions and special offers for truck parts and accessories.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing the truck parts product range by identifying new items and monitoring market needs.
  • Ad hoc duties as required and commensurate with the position.

Required Criteria

  • Previous supervisory experience or experience in leading a team is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable previous relevant sales support & customer service experience is essential.
  • A familiarity and understanding of the operation of field based sales teams.
  • Previous knowledge and experience of working within the heavy vehicle industry or motor factors and a strong knowledge of heavy vehicle parts is essential.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and good analytical skills.
  • Be a confident and competent decision maker.
  • Ability to negotiate strongly and effectively, in a professional manner.
  • Be an excellent communicator who listens actively, thinks strategically and has the ability to gain credibility at all levels.
  • Previous experience of cross functional co-ordination with different teams.
  • Possess a proactive, flexible and methodical approach to work.
  • Show excellent accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure using their own initiative and reacting to changing priorities.
  • Be able to manage their time effectively.
  • Be able to work unsupervised and on your own initiative.
  • Be proficient in producing operational reports and using data to drive actions.
  • Possess demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Possess a full, valid driving licence.

  • Previous experience and use of CRM systems would be highly desirable.
