Excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work for a specialist manufacturing company based in the Keady area. This is a brand new role and on offer is a rate of £18 p/hr - £20 p/hr, bonus, pension, and professional development support if additional electrical or mechanical training is required. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.

Role

  • Reporting to the Plant & Maintenance Manager, as Maintenance Engineer you will be an integral part of the operations team in the maintenance and preservation of key plant and equipment.
  • Maintain & implement planned and preventative maintenance as per schedules for all plant and equipment and report key findings.
  • Change out bearings, rollers, drums, motors, gearboxes, pumps, rams, trommels, support wheels etc.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation.
  • Maintain all records, documentation and literature in compliance with company safety, health, environmental and quality standards.
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must be able to climb ladders & stairs.
  • Carry out daily checks/inspections to improve the overall effectiveness of the plant equipment and to help mitigate reactive maintenance.

Person

  • Minimum of 5 years experience maintaining heavy plant and equipment.
  • Recognised apprenticeship or other alternative relevant qualification considered.
