Warehouse Operatives (Temp with view to Perm) Staffline are working on behalf of our client based in Antrim who are one of the UK and Ireland's leading architectural aluminium systems companies.
Specialising in the innovative design and distribution of purpose designed window, door and curtain walling systems.
We are currently seeking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to join the team.
The successful candidate will work with an experienced store person to assemble, pack and label Aluminum window profiles for dispatch.
Working hours 8am - 5pm Mon-Thurs 8am - 1.05pm Fri Key Duties & Responsibilities: Receiving
Goods: Unloading deliveries from trucks or other vehicles.
Checking incoming items against invoices and shipping documents.
Inspecting goods for damage or missing items.
Storing
Inventory: Sorting and placing goods in designated storage locations.
Rotating stock according to procedures.
Using scanners to record product information.
Picking & Packing: Picking items to fulfil customer orders.
Packing goods into boxes, crates or pallets.
Preparing shipping documentation.
Dispatching
Goods: Moving packed orders to loading docks.
Ensuring outbound shipments match paperwork.
Warehouse
Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
Maintaining equipment.
Following health and safety rules.
Inventory control: Assisting with stock counts.
Using handheld scanners to track inventory.
Security & Compliance: Reporting suspicious activity.
Treating merchandise with care.
Skills and
Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
Physical fitness for lifting and moving goods.
