We are seeking an experienced and driven QHSE Manager to join a leading manufacturing and distribution operation based in Co Antrim. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the QHSE Manager will play a key role in reducing the cost of quality, enhancing right-first-time performance, and ensuring adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

The Role:
As the QHSE Manager, you will:
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
- Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
- Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Oversee Supplier Quality Assurance, including audits and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain the Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, accident investigations, and lead safety training initiatives.
- Drive environmental initiatives to reduce waste, energy usage, and overall environmental impact.
- Monitor changes in legislation and standards, ensuring compliance across the organisation.
- Track, analyse, and report key QHSE KPIs, producing monthly reports on compliance and performance.
- Coach and support managers and supervisors in their QHSE responsibilities, fostering a proactive safety culture.
The Person:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Quality, Engineering, Technical, Business, or a related field.
- 5 + years' experience in a Quality / QHSE leadership role within manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong experience with ISO 9001 and quality audit management.
- Proven ability to deliver continuous improvement and exceed business targets.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and IT skills.
- A self-driven, resilient attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- NEBOSH or formal Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience with ISO 14001.
- Lean / Continuous Improvement experience.
