An excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven and commercially minded Newly Qualified Accountant to join a growing and well-established organisation based in Antrim. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in producing accurate financial reporting, supporting operational teams, and helping to drive improvements across finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts with clear financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Support month and year-end close and liaise with external auditors.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, and internal recharges across departments.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor capital expenditure.
  • Complete bank reconciliations and support finance agreements, including hire purchase.
  • Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns, including UK and ROI VAT.
  • Support wider reporting requirements and contribute to improvements in financial systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar accounting role
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Solid understanding of financial controls and reporting processes
