About you

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or above
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and discreetly

What you'll do

  • Support attendance & absence management, working with managers to reduce absenteeism and support employee wellbeing
  • Handle employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies and employment legislation
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for operational and office roles
  • Assist in performance management activities and employee development programmes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support payroll processes when necessary
  • Promote engagement, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
