We are currently seeking a Cook for a hospital setting in Antrim. This is a full-time temporary position for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension. The role offers 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends, with shifts scheduled between 7.30am and 5.30pm.

Pay Rates:

  • £12.75 per hour Monday to Friday
  • £17.22 per hour on Saturdays
  • £21.55 per hour on Sundays

Main Duties:

  • Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu plans and dietary requirements.
  • Ensuring high standards of food quality and compliance with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP regulations.
  • Receiving, storing, rotating, and serving food safely while maintaining correct food temperatures.
  • Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, stock rotation, and minimising waste.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and service areas, including equipment and work surfaces.
  • Recording and reporting key information including temperature checks, portion control, equipment faults, and service data.
