Requirements

  • You must hold a BSc (Hons) in Radiography (Diagnostic), a Diploma from the College of Radiographers, or an equivalent higher qualification.
  • Current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) or eligibility to apply before taking up the post.
  • Proven ability to prioritise your own workload and effective communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current professional issues.
  • Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role).

Responsibilities

  • Undertake radiographic and imaging examinations, following exposure charts accurately to achieve a high standard of image quality.
  • Participate in routine daily inspections of equipment and quality assurance procedures, reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate manager.
  • Maintain a high standard of service characterised by courtesy, kindness, interest, and efficiency at all times.
  • Abide by the Society of Radiographers and HCPC Codes of Professional Conduct.
  • Take responsibility for your own professional development in accordance with CPD requirements.
  • Represent the Trust's commitment to high standards by treating all members of the public and staff in a respectful manner.
