A well establish construction business based in the Portglenone area require an Accounts Assistant to join their team to cover an interim period, are you experienced across key areas of finance and searching for a role where you can start ASAP? Salary/ Benefits In order to attract the very best talent on the market a generous remuneration package is on offer based on experience plus a range of benefits including: Competitive salary (£27/28K) Immediate Start Free parking provided for staff Client VANRATH are delighted to be working with a well establish construction business based in the Portglenone area who are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team, initially on a 2-3 month contract basis with potential for extension. The Ideal Person Previous experience in an accounting or finance role Payroll role experience desirable Qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field (e.g., AAT, ACCA part-qualified) is desirable. Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Responsibilities Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner. Weekly and monthly payroll function Maintain and reconcile supplier and customer accounts. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end accounts. Support bank reconciliations and cash flow management. Handle queries from suppliers and customers regarding payments and invoices. Assist in payroll processing and maintain related records. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
