The IT Risk & Controls Analyst is responsible for providing assurance and insights into technology risks, controls, and governance activities. The role collaborates with Engineering teams to manage technology risks effectively and ensure compliance with standards, offering 1st line risk management expertise. This role also involves planning and facilitating annual audits affecting financial reporting, leading activities from a UK IT perspective, and working with stakeholders to provide strategic guidance, technical knowledge, and quality assurance for audit-related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the facilitation of annual IT audit activities, collaborating with stakeholders, third parties, and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution and evidence collection.
  • Work with Europe, CTS, and IAM teams to improve and operate the joiners, movers, leavers (JML) process, ensuring proper adherence.
  • Provide risk management guidance and support to IT teams, acting as an SME, and help manage technology risks by analyzing control effectiveness and assessing impacts on risk posture.
  • Act as a point of contact for the Risk Controls Framework, working closely with engineering teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and track actions.
  • Conduct risk analysis to identify potential or emerging technology risks and vulnerabilities, preparing information for risk owners to support decision-making.
  • Work annually with key stakeholders to attest to the Information Security Operating Policy.
  • Coordinate with European CSIO and Security teams to ensure policy alignment and consistent reporting.

  • Deep knowledge of Risk Management frameworks, information security, and technology risk controls.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for all management levels.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
