The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's shipping and dispatch of our products globally.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Shipping Operations: Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods to customers or other facilities.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, customs forms, DGNs.
  • Carrier Liaison: Communicate with freight carriers to schedule pickups, resolve issues, and track shipments.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records during dispatch.
  • Quality Assurance: Check outgoing goods for damage, labelling accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
  • System Updates: Maintain shipping logs and update ERP or warehouse management systems with dispatch data.
  • Compliance: Ensure all shipments meet legal and regulatory requirements, including customs and export controls.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Familiarity with shipping methods (ground, air, sea); logistics software; Incoterms; Commodity Codes; Export documentation; Haz goods (shipping and labelling)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners
  • Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is highly desirable

Education & Training

  • A level or equivalent (minimum)
  • On-the-job training or vocational qualifications in logistics or supply chain e.g. IAATA / ADR
  • Certifications in shipping or export compliance (optional but beneficial) e.g. IAATA / ADR
