The Opportunity

As a Social Media Executive, you will work alongside our Iris Inc (social, PR, and partnerships) team to deliver social media management, community management and content creation for a variety of our key London client partners. You will be the eyes, ears and voice of our brands across all social touch points including always-on content across multiple platforms, reactive moments, proactive community management and more. Managed by our Social Strategist and working closely with our Content Creator and Social Media Manager you will contribute to developing a best-in-class approach to social strategy and creative. You must be comfortable creating content from scratch for planned content calendars and responding to trends as well as engaging with the community in real time.

What you'll be doing day to day:

  • Ideate, shoot, and edit content from scratch including trends.
  • Support the development and implementation of social strategies and their objectives.
  • Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail, strong instinctive judgment, high levels creativity and excellent writing skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead effective presentations.
  • Collaborate proactively across multiple projects.
  • Balance organisation, analytics, and creativity in equal measure.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of social media best practices, platform functionalities (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and more) and updates to stay up to date with industry changes.
  • Understand audience behaviours, how brand tone of voice fosters brand affinity and recognise the impact of tailored responses in resolving community queries and creating meaningful engagements.

  • Experience building social followings for personal projects or as a content creator.
  • Any experience on brands is welcomed but not essential.
  • A passion for staying informed about all things culture, the internet, memes, skits and the digital video landscape.
  • Utilise reporting to detect insights and optimisations to increase key metrics on social channels.
  • A born collaborator, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Personable, with a natural ability to develop strong relationships across the agency.
