As we continue to grow, we're looking for a commercially focused and ambitious Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, acquisitive technology business. You'll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, work closely with Sales and Marketing leaders, and play a key role in providing the insight and analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the organisation.

As a Finance Analyst within our Commercial Finance team, you'll partner with Sales and Marketing functions to deliver meaningful financial insight, support planning activities, and help drive business performance. You'll be involved in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and commercial analysis, providing leaders with the information they need to make informed decisions. This role offers excellent exposure to commercial finance, FP&A, and business partnering, making it an ideal next step for someone eager to accelerate their finance career.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting forecasting and reporting activities across Sales and Marketing functions, including overheads and headcount.
  • Assisting with budgeting and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Supporting month-end activities, including accruals, purchase order approvals, and balance sheet responsibilities.
  • Partnering with Sales and Marketing leaders to help manage costs and improve financial performance.
  • Analysing marketing investments, campaign performance, and conversion metrics to provide actionable insights.
  • Supporting newly acquired businesses with aligning forecasts, reporting, and KPIs to IRIS standards.
  • Delivering financial analysis that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Contributing to ad hoc projects and commercial initiatives across the business.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider finance team to provide support and drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Management Accounting, or Finance Business Partnering.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Desirable

  • Degree-level education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Studying towards, or recently qualified in, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Experience within a technology, software, SaaS, or other high-growth business environment.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
